Blessing Bag Project
Last summer with generous contributions from our parishioners and the Knights of Columbus, the ICC donated, assembled, and distributed 245 Blessing Bags to the children at the Back to School Bash. The Bags were a big hit at the Bash – especially among the parents who didn’t have to buy all those toiletries (shampoo, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and tissues) for their kids!
This year, we have been blessed with a Poverty Relief Fund Grant from the Diocese of Greensburg to purchase all of the supplies for over 300 Blessing Bags! The supplies are being purchased, and we will need volunteers the evening of Wednesday, August 12, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm to assemble these bags. We will do this in the Social Hall of St. Thomas More University Parish.
Anyone who wants to volunteer must call the parish office to sign up and have all clearances to volunteer in the Diocese of Greensburg.

Please join us on Saturday, August 29th at the Indiana Eagles Club for an exciting evening filled with fun and fellowship. Doors open at 5 pm with the first race starting at 6:30.
Tickets for the 2nd annual Night at the Races will be on sale after Masses the weekend of August 8/9. Tickets will continue to be sold every weekend in August and through the parish office until the event.
Your $30 ticket will get you entry to the fundraising event, a delicious dinner, including desserts prepared by our parishioners and beverages. For an additional $10, you can buy and name a horse in the race, with the chance to win a cash prize. There is also an opportunity to reserve a booth at the event: $20 for a small booth seating 4-5 people and $40 for a large booth seating 6-8 people.

Job Opportunity at St. Bernard School
St. Bernard School is seeking someone with building and grounds maintenance experience. This is a full year position with a flexible part-time schedule. Work with the maintenance team on daily cleaning of school building and small repairs.
Must be able to obtain clearances required for employees working in a school environment.
