Description: Mass With Prayers and Blessings For Healing What is it? How is this Mass different from other Masses? This Mass is celebrated for the single intention of healing. We were created body, mind and soul. Usually, we have no difficulty asking God to heal our body, it is not as easy to recognize and ask for a healing of the mind or an emotional problem. A spiritual healing is not considered very often because of our pride. We do not like to face the fact that we are sinners and we need God’s mercy and forgiveness. During this Mass a brief examination of conscience is used as part of the penitential rite which helps us identify our need for spiritual healing. Prayer intentions at the conclusion of the Mass are for emotional and physical healings. Individual blessings are then given to those who wish to participate. Join us on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 2:00 PM and pray for yourself or for family members or friends who seek God’s healing. This Mass is open to people of all faiths.
